SMARTfence® is 100% American-Made, Patented, and NTPEP Compliant.

 

SMARTfence® is a heavy-duty, high-tensile/high-modulus, woven geo textile sediment fence designed and engineered to replace all silt fencing that utilizes woven, welded, or chain-link metal backing for structural support. It also replaces all proprietary silt fences with attached reinforcing elements. SMARTfence®, does not require any metal fencing, but is engineered to combine the structural strength of all metal fencing with the functions of silt-fence fabric. SMARTfence® is engineered to withstand high-tensile stresses associated with excessive hydrostatic and hydrodynamic forces and prevent failure due to excessive material elongation and strain.

SMARTfence® 42 Patented

SMARTfence® 42 is designed to replace silt fencing with metal-wire backing. It is designed to meet and exceed the tensile and modulus strength of 9-gauge chain-link fence. (Modulus is a measure of material stiffness). SMARTfence® 42 resists fence deflection and ultimate failure due to ripping, sagging, or overtopping as hydrostatic and hydrodynamic forces associated with excessive backwater depths and debris move against the fence.​

SMARTfence® 36 is designed to replace silt fencing with metal-wire backing. It is designed to meet and exceed the tensile and modulus strength of 12.5-gauge chain-link fence (Modulus is a measure of material stiffness). SMARTfence® 36 resists fence deflection and ultimate failure due to ripping, sagging, or overtopping as hydrostatic and hydrodynamic forces associated with excessive backwater depths and debris move against the fence.​

More Information 

SMARTfence® 42 and SMARTfence® 36 are designed to replace all silt fence with metal backing and proprietary silt fence with attached reinforcing elements.

SMARTfence® significantly reduces high-suspended solids concentrations in stormwater as tested per ASTM D 5141.

 

The use of SMARTfence® will result in less carbon emissions due to the fact no metal fence manufacturing is required. This will also result in less material waste produced at the end of the project.
